Reseller Fee & Profit Calculator

US standard rates · Verified November 2026 · Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere

How it works

Enter what you sold (or plan to sell) an item for, what it cost you, and who pays shipping. The calculator applies each marketplace's current standard fee schedule and shows your net profit on all platforms side by side — so "lowest fee" and "most money in your pocket" stop being the same wrong assumption.

Local pickup or buyer-paid platform label? Leave both shipping fields at 0. Seller-paid label (free shipping)? Put the label cost in "shipping label you pay".

Rates cross-checked against each platform's seller documentation and three independent fee-comparison sources in November 2026. Category exceptions apply (eBay Motors ~13.25%, Whatnot electronics 5%), sales tax is excluded, and platforms change rates without much notice — confirm inside each marketplace before pricing a significant item.

Why "lowest fee" is the wrong question

Vinted's 0% sounds unbeatable until you notice its audience is mostly fashion and its buyers pay an extra fee at checkout (which suppresses what they'll pay). eBay's 13.6% stings until you remember it has the largest buyer base for collectibles and electronics — and often drives a higher sale price that more than covers the difference. Use this calculator as one input, alongside where your item's buyers actually are.
